At Marlie Draught Horse Stud we use our working horses to complete various farm work. This involves ploughing and cultivation of the paddocks in preparation for seeding as well as logging for firewood and fencing posts just to name a few. Our working horses have all been trained to work in teams as well as single harness and show a desire and willingness to work. All horses are trained on site by Aleks.
Aleks and Karina enjoy competing in ploughing competitions and performing demonstrations of working horses across Australia.
